Carolyn Nunamaker

Carolyn Nunamaker is a graduate of Miami University (OH) where she earned her BS in Mathematics, and Shippensburg University (PA), where she was granted the MS degree in Public School Administration. She taught in the Gettysburg School District for 18 years before assuming the position as Principal of the Middle School. Carolyn has taken an active role in the community where she has served on the Boards of many organizations, including the YWCA (Chair), Survivors (Chair), and the Board of Heard Start.She has also been very active in the Fairfield Mennonite Church where she served as Chair of the Congregation and Co-Chair of their annual Gift Festival for almost 20 years.

Norman Nunamaker

Norman Nunamaker has degrees from Bowling Green State University (OH) (AB degree in Music), and Indiana University (Bloomington, IN), where he earned both the MM and PhD in Musicology. Norman was on the faculty at Gettysburg College for 33 years and taught courses in Music History, Music Theory, Strings, Music Appreciation and directed the College Orchestra .He is a violinist and has performed with many local ensembles as well as being the Associate Concertmaster of the York Symphony Orchestra for over 20 years. Conducting has also been an interest, and Norman conducted the Potomac Symphony Orchestra (3 yrs), the Maryland Theatre Orchestra (2 yrs), and the Shippensburg Festival Orchestra (20 years).
